My Friday Flashes

I started #fridayflash on the 29th of May, 2009. I called it Friday Fiction at first, not realizing that someone else was already using that handle for another online writing project. So I changed the name to Friday Flash, or #fridayflash as Twitter hashtags go, and have been running with it ever since. Every Friday you can find many quality pieces of flash fiction on the web simply by searching for the #fridayflash hashtag on Twitter, Google, or by visiting the #fridayflash group page on Facebook.

Below is a list of all the #fridayflash I have written to date. My goal is to post one story a week for a year and then to release them all as a short story compilation. Click on any title to read a story. Feel free to comment on any of them. Constructive criticism, doting praise, and vitriolic contempt are all accepted, though in all honesty I’ll probably ignore vitriol. ~jon
